BPPA is an association of British psychiatrists of Pakistan origin with distinct Pakistani cultural background. The cultural aspect makes us distinct yet an integral part of the multicultural & multiethnic Britain. We are proud to be a part of British Society while at the same time preserving the identity of our traditional Pakistani cultural values and backgrounds. It is the identity of our present & future generations who would be known as British Pakistanis. We aspire to pass on the baton of our culture and values to next generation.

BPPA is a forum to voice and share the individual thoughts of the members between and amongst one and another and with various streams and strata of the British society to enhance fraternity and comradeship.

BPPA also serves to promote professional excellence amongst its members by arranging various academic symposia, meetings and seminars. We strive to bring all our members together, socially, academically and professionally. We endeavour to create and establish links with other professional & academic associations, to discuss various social and psychological aspects of life.

BPPA is proactively working to help psychiatrists and doctors from Pakistani cultural background in career coaching, professional & vocational guidance, and especially tendering junior doctors appropriate support in their initial struggle in the UK.

BPPA prides itself to be able to help countless number of psychiatrists and doctors on variety of issues ranging from Career Guidance, enhancement of academic proficiency to social support and job placement.
